I have to say this weekend has had to be one of the most boring ever! Although what do you expect when you have to revise for exams. The ones we had on Friday went OK in my opinion, however I feel particularly in the English I could have done better. Nevertheless I'm feeling confident overall about the coming week and I hope to achieve good results.
It's weird because I've been doing so much revision lately (again not by choice – and whether any of it has been worthwhile I don't know) that I've kind of forgotten about all the things I'd usually do everyday such as watching telly, playing on my games consoles or listening to music. So I'm really looking forward to Friday because that's basically when I return to normal.
I have a few things to look forward to after the exams though. Hopefully this time next week I'll have visited our kittens again, which we are allowed to collect in 5 weeks time! They're so sweet the way they all hang around together. For those of you who don't know we're getting two kittens, one male and one female, and they're both British Shorthair silver spotted/tabby. They're really sweet so that's something to look forward to over the coming weeks.
Also directly after the school holidays I'm taking part in this thing at Wycombe Swam called 'Summer Youth Project' where basically people aged 10-19 act as the cast and crew for a fortnight and this year the production is 'My Fair Lady'. I entered as part of the technical team, having heard of it from the RGS SLST. I'm not totally sure how it'll turn out although from what I hear it's a fun thing to get involved with. I guess I'll have to wait and see!
Tomorrow I have English and Maths exams, so hopefully they'll go OK.
George.
